About the Snap!

Back when, roofing tiles were made from clay. Light and lovely, they graced many a Mediterranean-style roof in the West. These are on the roof of the century old Burlingame railroad station and are simply lovely to look at – made by hand and made to last, no two alike.

By contrast, modern ’tiles’ are made from heavy, painted concrete, guaranteeing that your home will fall down the next time the San Andreas fault does its thing, as they impose massive force on the structure.
