Summary: Alien Autopsy, i guess the name to alot of you sounds familiar but some of you wont actually be familiar with the movie that was released not too long ago. Alien Autopsy is based on the true story of Ray Santilli and Gary Shoefield who are 2 men who claim that in 1992 they saw 22 original cans of footage each averaging 4 minutes in length, this footage was of an Alien Autopsy from the Roswell incident in 1947. Ray Santilli bought this footage off the cameraman who filmed the original Autopsy but something happened and the original footage was destroyed.... Some of it anyway. Ray Santilli in order to buy the original footage he had to get some money off a loan shark in exchange that he would let the loan shark keep the original footage and Ray could make copies of it. Because it was destroyed Ray had to make a decision either risk being killed or re-create the entire autopsy in his sisters flat and he chose to re-create it.
This re-creation is what we have all seen the world over, everybody was convinced it was real even the united states goverment launched an investigation into the footage.

The two actors that play Ray & Gary in this film are 2 very big stars here in England by the name of Ant & Dec who are more widely known as TV presenters so it was a big surprise to hear they had taken this leap. Needless to say the chemistry between the two of them was excellent and they really made this film great.

This is a fun movie with alot of smart and a well researched script as it matches the original Ray & Gary story. With great supporting roles from Bill Pullman, Harry Dean Stanton & British Comedian Omid Djalili this movie is a classic that although not a huge favourite of the critics this really made me smile.
